In 1987, and after eight years as a Wall Street entrepreneur/investment banker, I started a community-based physical therapy company geared toward adapting to managed care, took it public, sold out and started over privately with a partner. In only six years, that company grew from one to five clinics and sales went from $ZERO to almost $8 million. During my tenure, we successfully partnered physical therapists with large orthopedic groups, provided outstanding service, clinical communication and marketing to outside docs. In addition we embraced the community and strategically aligned with hospitals. Everyone WINS!!
